Harper lives in a regional town and has developed an alcohol and benzodiazepine dependence. After her initial assessment, Harper’s case worker suggested that she receives psychosocial education so that she could reduce her harmful AOD use. The case worker also suggested that Harper receives mental health support to reduce her anxiety symptoms. However, the program to address both her AOD and mental health needs is a two-hour drive away from Harper, though majority of the organisation’s programs can be delivered online.
