Now that you know the grand theories of development, choose a concept/topic from your book and compare and contrast what the different theoretical perspectives would say about this topic. For example, if I chose the topic personality, a behaviorist would say that personality is shaped by our environments (nurture). How would this position differ from–at minimum, two other perspectives? You can choose from psychoanalytic, cognitive, evolutionary, humanistic or even systems theory. What other aspects, regarding this topic, might they agree or differ on?
