firewall to protect the network for a company consisting of 350 employees with
seven departments. The company is located in Des Moines, WA. They have the total
of 290 computers and all computers require the high-speed Internet connectivity.
The network type will be heterogeneous. The company also wants to implement
WLAN supporting three departments with 29 Wi-Fi devices.
The company will support 42 telecommuters logging in from multiple geographical
locations. In addition, the company would like to manage host Webserver, Email
server and FTP server and VPN server internally. The company is more likely to
have a database server that contains confidential customer information and
company’s business strategy and trade secrets.
The company plans to deploy Microsoft Windows 2019 to create Microsoft Active
Directory Domain. The company will install and configure two domain controllers to
authenticate, authorize, replicate and secure the active directory service
components. The two DCs require high security with high availability. Outsourcing
these servers is prohibited.
